Checking the AI connection…
Before You Begin
- Choose a case and read its facts and exercise rules. If a course or training program assigned a role, follow that assignment; otherwise choose your own practice focus.
- You act as the arbitrator. Published cases keep private participant profiles out of your brief. Custom case authors can see both profiles, so their practice is not blind.
- You act as the decision-maker. Assess the record and explain your reasons; the purpose is not to broker a compromise. Any award here is a training exercise with no legal effect.
- Select a stage and who should respond. Replies are brief and case-specific. Focused questions, evidence, and substantive engagement should be needed for progress.
- Each session allows 30 of your turns, with up to 2,000 characters per message. Enter sends; Shift + Enter adds a new line. Review the rubric below.
- Download your transcript and closing work before leaving. Refreshing or closing this page can lose them. The site does not save conversations or feedback. AI processing is subject to the provider's data policies.
- Feedback is a formative AI assessment, not an official grade. Compare its evidence with your transcript. Use fictional or appropriately de-identified material.

How Scores Work
- 0 — The observed approach was seriously ineffective or inappropriate.
- 1 — The skill was attempted, with major gaps or counterproductive choices.
- 2 — Some useful elements appeared, but important gaps remained.
- 3 — The skill was demonstrated competently, with clear room to improve.
- 4 — The skill was applied effectively and consistently to the case.
- 5 — The skill was applied precisely, consistently, and responsively to the case.
- Not Observed — There is not enough evidence to score this skill; it is excluded from the total.
Unobserved skills are excluded from the total. A short session may provide only limited evidence.
